I’ve had a couple of girls tell me about their hair journey. It’s either “I’m really tired of this hair. I might as well trim it low” or “ugh. It’s natural hair for me”
Ladies, you don’t have to go through all these stress thinking. Here are a few tips to bringing that Lazarus back to life. (Yea, I said it. I couldn’t hold it back. Haha!)
◼️ It helps to know your hair type
It’s either you have one or a combination of normal, greasy, thin, curly or a dried/damaged hair
◼️ For Normal hair: your hair is not too greasy, not static, they are always flexible and smooth – you’re lucky to have normal hair. This does not mean, however, that it is meaningless what hair care products you choose. If you use cosmetics mismatched to the type of your hair, you can only damage them. Ideally, you should wash your hair with a mild shampoo and a conditioner with enhancing properties. In addition, to prevent drying, once a month, use a strong hydrating mask or treatment.
◼️ For Greasy hair: If nature has endowed you with greasy hair, and to make matters worse you are prone to dandruff, try to wash your head just as often as necessary. When washing the scalp try not to rub the skin, as otherwise it will begin to peel and stimulate the activity of the sebaceous glands. Do not overuse any hair care products, it is best to select cosmetics series created specifically for greasy hair. However, if you have dandruff, use anti-dandruff shampoos.
◼️ For Thin hair: Hair care for different types of hair is not limited to the use of respective cosmetics. Sometimes, as in the case of thin hair, hairdressing scissors will be useful. Women with thin hair often complain about how hard it is to arrange such hair. Therefore, you need to go to the hairdresser and together choose the right hairstyle. In addition, you might want to use products that add volume to your hair. When it comes to cleaning, it’s best to use gentle measures to increase hair volume properties.
◼️ For Curly hair: Only women, endowed by nature with curly hair know how hard it is to enjoy the beautiful spring locks. In general, prior to stylization they are unattractive. To remedy this, use after every wash moisturizing hair conditioners and stylization will be much easier if you use the foam and coatings without alcohol and fat. Shelves in drugstores bend under the weight of entire lines of cosmetics specifically designed to curly hair. So choose something for yourself
◼️ For Dried/Damaged hair: Regularly dyed hair or perm? If you do not help to ensure proper care of your hair, they soon will become rough, dull and desiccated. To prevent damage to the delicate structure of the hair, use restorative shampoos, conditioners and masks. Select products specifically designed for dyed or damaged hair. The key to success is that you apply the cosmetics regularly.
◼️ Be careful not to use too many products on your hair and if possible, stick to the products with natural extracts.
